Dardanelle High School EAST
The EAST program recruits students who expect to increase their skills in problem solving, technological skills, and critical thinking skills by functioning in a workplace environment. The program supports the community and school performance-based projects in which students increase their skills. The EAST Program provides an environment centered around student learning directed by community projects with the availability of high-level technology software to be used as tools to solve the project problems. The instruction is based on the facilitator model as utilized by the EAST Initiative programs operating in over 200 schools in Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Iowa, California, Illinois, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Hawaii.
